About
I am a multidisciplinary visual artist and writer working primarily with oil and acrylic on canvas. My practice explores memory, mythology, devotion, music, femininity, and the emotional landscapes of the human experience. Deeply inspired by classical Indian aesthetics, Sufi poetry, folk traditions, and the coastal culture of Konkan, my work attempts to preserve and reinterpret fragments of cultural memory through a contemporary lens. Alongside painting, I write poetry and develop narrative based artistic projects that merge visual storytelling with spirituality, emotion, and personal history. My work exists between the sacred and intimate, with the hope of creating spaces where people can feel seen beyond identity, division, or belief.
Project Goals for the next 6-12 Months
Over the next 6 to 12 months, I hope to expand my practice into larger scale bodies of work, immersive exhibitions, and interdisciplinary storytelling projects that combine painting, poetry, sound, and moving image. At the core of my practice is a desire to encourage people to look beyond religion, separation, and inherited conflict, and reconnect with empathy, humanity, and collective healing. I believe we are living in a time where the world is emotionally, spiritually, and environmentally burning, and art has the ability to become both witness and remedy. I am interested in collaborating with curators, musicians, cultural spaces, and communities who believe in the power of art to preserve culture while also creating dialogue, reflection, and healing across borders.
